With all buyers and sellers, there are certain forms you’ll use every time. Did you know you can save time you spend finding all those frequently accessed forms by using templates?

This 5 minute video will help you learn how to create a template inside of Zipform Online, and then to use that template in a new transaction so it’ll open complete with all the contracts you need.

Zipform Desktop Vista users may notice after installing the program that you’re taken to a foreign screen; asking for things like codes or passwords.  This is an admin configuration area that’s not actually meant to be seen by consumers, but the fix is pretty easy.

You may also be getting an error along the lines of:

An error occurred while parsing EntityName…

This error is more common with Zipform Online users after opening a transaction.  To fix both of these issues, the following solution may prove to be quite useful.  Thanks goes out to Robin Polito at the Zipform support staff for sending this over.

1. Click on the link below and select run:
   http://support.zipform.com/supportfiles/temp.exe
2. This will start the download of the file; once it is downloaded you will be prompted to run again.
3. Follow the prompts and when completed click on “Finish” (Please note: Do not close the black window that appears, this is what is clearing your temp files and will close automatically.)
4. VISTA users you will need to delete the Virtual Store: (If you are using XP please skip this step)
   1. 1. Click on the Start button
      2. Go to Computer
      3. Double click on the Local Hard drive (Local Disk C: on most machines)
      4. Double click on Program Files
      5. Double click on REFN
      6. Double Click on Form Viewer
      7. In the menu bar at the top of the window and click on button called “Compatibly Files”.
      8. Delete all files that are in this folde
5. Once completed you will be able to open your transactions, as you normally would do.
