One of the main reasons I use Google Mail for my email software is the focus that Google has placed in making sure my email is organized for me in an easy and intuitive way.
Though today, I was hinted by Graham Cohen, technology coordinator at Keller Williams International, to a fantastic piece of software called Xobni (Inbox spelled backwards). In a nutshell, Xobni is an addon to Microsoft Outlook that will help you organize your email and quickly see, at a glance, the following:
- Past Conversations with a Contact
- Quickly review any attachments the contact has sent to you in the past
- (really neat) Email analytics - see graphs and rankings showing how you use your email
So far it sounds pretty interesting, but I found a video on YouTube showing it off in real-time. Keep reading to watch.
How neat is that!? Definitely give this a try if you use Microsoft Outlook. It’s a free download and definitely worth a few moments to see if it helps your productivity.

Yea it’s worth a try but I doubt it will pull me away from my gmail

I can definitely understand that. In my mind, Google has the features that I need without too many hassles.
Though I do see plenty of agents around my market center using Outlook. Only problem I have with using Outlook is what if your PC goes down? Hard drive crash?
I hope you’re archiving to Gmail.

Wow! I’ve been using Outlook a lot at work. If there’s any way to make it like a conversation as what Gmail is doing I’d gladly install it =D Thanks for Xobni
