Wordpress 3.3 is out!

I've updated TechForAgents.com to use the latest and greatest. Check out the latest update from the devs over at Wordpress for all your real estate blogs:

As always, be sure to do a full home directory and database backup prior to starting the upgrade. If you already had the latest version of Wordpress prior to "Sonny", then you'll find the upgrade process to be super simple. Just log into your Wordpress backend and you should see the alert telling your to upgrade.

No problem. I really like that they're always steadily improving the UI, and the tooltips are definitely helpful for beginners. Back when I was building blogs for real estate agents in my office, I had to have at least a 30 minute orientation on how to use Wordpress.

Because the updated version of WP now offers /%postname%/ for a permalink structure without having to do a custom permalink, have you noticed any changes in URL structures 'accidentally'?

I have had two sites now where they have changed from the setting that I had marked to the new /%postname%/ structure. I was able to change them back quickly because I went through to check the settings, but I normally don't check these after updating WP. I am hoping this was just a two time fluke...all other sites seemed to seamlessly upgrade.

Everything ok on your side?

On TFA I actually use a custom permalink structure with the post id then the post name. I'm guessing they only changed the default and didn't reset any options, because I was unaffected after the upgrade.
