A Settlement for Blackberry

Have you been scared lately that your Blackberry was going to be incidentally inoperable due to recent legal issues with RIM? Well, it looks like your phones are staying on, as Blackberry has reached a settlement with NTP.

According to MSN, Research in Motion will pay the small Virgina based firm $612.5 Million dollars. Yes, that is correct. I don’t know about you, but this presents a whole new light on performing a full scale patent search BEFORE you start making money on new technology.

    This is good news because as a Realtor that is conforming with technology, I have come to need that Blackberry, and I don’t really want to learn the Iphone yet.
