Editing Your Images With Picasa

One of the really great tools that Google has come out with is Picasa.  Real estate agents may find great value in this free application by the search giants; it’s simple to use and makes editing photos a breeze.

Today I thought it’d be a good idea to do a short video showcasing what Picasa can do to help you.  In my experience, I’ve used Picasa to brighten, crop, and compress images so that they were web friendly.

There’s nothing like getting an email from a relative with one picture attached that’s over 3MB!  The simple export feature in Picasa is well worth the download, as I’ve seen many MLS boards restrict the size of the images uploaded into their listing databases.

Watch the video after the break.

I love Picasso and use it quite a bit. For heavy duty modification of images I like to use Fireworks.
