Open House Music with Logitech Mini Boombox

An open house filled with awkward silences is a recipe for disaster. You probably have noticed that department stores use music to encourage a certain emotion out of their shoppers, and the same can be done for your open house visitors. With the Logitech Mini Boombox, things just got easier.

In a nutshell, the Mini Boombox from Logitech is a bluetooth speaker that can connect to any device that offers bluetooth connectivity. This includes most smart phones, iPads, and laptops. Most agents I’ve spoken with neglect to include music to avoid the hassle, but with a bluetooth speaker you simply sit it down next to your smart phone preloaded with music and voila; instant soothing environment for your visitors.

Engadget has a demo with a Logitech rep below for you to check out. This will run you just shy of $100 (with more expensive versions that have better sound quality) so it’s not exactly cheap. To set it apart from it’s competitors, the Mini Boombox includes a touch interface and a microphone for you to also use as a speakerphone.

Investing in a tool that could possibly increase your conversion ratios is always worth a consideration, so definitely watch the video and let me know what you think below. Would you spend $100 on a bluetooth speaker?
