To build a new, fresh community of peeps focused on real estate technology, I’ve added forums to TechForAgents. Our forums are going to be well maintained and moderated by yours truly. There’s no shortage of real estate forums on the web, so here’s a run down of why I feel this one will be different.
Moderation of all discussions will be one of my core responsibilities at TechForAgents. I’ll make sure to bring down the hammer on any spammers, blatant advertising, and link farms before it becomes a nuisance.
TechForAgents is my full-time home, so I’ll always be writing and participating all throughout the day. I may not catch everything early into the morning, but you can rest assured it’ll be pruned the very next day.
This consistent type of moderation is something I feel that really lacks among other forums on the net.
Simple, Easy to Use
I’m not going to have 20 different categories with a gargantuan list of rules for each one. These real estate forums are simple – No advertising or spamming.
This is going to be a community of people in the real estate industry who want to help each other succeed in various forms. Be it in their marketing, SEO strategy, web presence, lifestyle branding; you name it.
Over time, my goal is to build an awesome archive and resource of information for new and veteran real estate agents. I can’t do it alone though – I need your help!
Easy on the Eyes
I’ve purposely themed our forums to look just like TechForAgents. There isn’t any kind of major control panel to wade through – just a simple interface thanks to Vanilla, and free, open-sourced forum software. There may be some slight tweaks that still need to be made, but I’ve spent quite a bit of time making sure everything looks great.
